Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in Multinational Organizations (23250)

The course introduces the challenges of diversity, equity, and inclusion that multinational organizations face today. The course establishes definitions of the focal terms and highlights the relationship between diversity, equity, and inclusion. Further, it discusses individual, team, and organizational management approaches.

Scientific Project: Applied Research in International Management (23355)

In this seminar, the students develop an overall understanding of the implications of international management in the 21st century. This seminar aims to analyze the current challenges of managing diversity, inclusion, and equity in international organizations and bring them into an academic context. The students plan and execute the scientific project while applying academic research techniques.

Students are required to partake actively in class to foster their knowledge about working scientifically, hold a presentation on a research proposal, write a seminar paper about the outcome of their research, and reflect on the analysis of fellow participants.

Focus: Strategic Diversity Management

 

Seminar: Sustainability and Performance in HRM

In this seminar, the students critically evaluate HRM’s contribution to organisational performance and workforce sustainability by enhancing competitive advantage, employee wellbeing, and societal outcomes in times of uncertainty and change. The students will analyse implications of global disruptions on contemporary social & organisational contexts in which HRM is implemented. The seminar offers students the opportunity to develop the knowledge and skills to improve HRM’s contribution to the sustainability of the workforce and organisational performance.
