Leadership starts with yourself
What does it take to be a good leader? And how can we empower young people to become the future leaders of tomorrow? In the guest seminar “Next Level Leadership”, our master students did not only study the fundamental concepts of holistic leadership, but also dug into the basics of coaching. After conducting a market analysis, it was up to the students to develop an agile coaching program from scratch for the young generation aged 20-30 years.
Who are the potential clients in this group? Which modules and areas should the coaching program offer to address their needs? The course participants planned and presented the roll-out and customer-lifetime cycle in digital tandems. The main insight? Young adults have similar needs regarding leadership as the top management: time management, decision making, and finding purpose rank among the most pressing topics, along with more generation-specific needs such as career development and financial management.
Throughout the sessions, Dr. Bettina von Jagow offered individual 1:1 micro coaching and will continue to do so for seminar students who wish to further deepen their coaching experience.
