Scientific Project: Innovation, Internationalisation & Cross-Cultural Management (22037)

Prof. Dr. Susanne Enke / Sarah-Alena Rössig, M. Sc.

The scientific project seminar: Innovation, Internationalization & Cross-Cultural Management is open for 20 students enrolled in the master program International Management, Marketing, Entrepreneurship with a specialization in International Management.

We will start the semester by engaging in a computer-based simulation game. You are working in a multinational company and your team is responsible for internationalizing to Latin American markets. You have to decide on the country, the market entry as well as the competitive strategy in order to outperform your competitors over a number of “years”. After gaining extensive knowledge about market analysis and strategy in the simulation game, you will participate in the INTENSE project and apply your knowledge to a real life situation. Your team will give advice to a firm from abroad on how to enter the German market and develop a market entry strategy with them. You can find further information about the INTENSE project here.

The seminar requires intensive cross-cultural team collaboration. You have to submit multiple assignments throughout the semester. To support the small enterprises with their market entry to the German market, all participants have to be flexible in timing and willing to meet and discuss the market entry strategy with the enterprise in Berlin.

Please apply using the online form available here. The application system is open until March 5, 2019. Only applications transmitted using the online form are considered.
